3 Tips For A Killer Facebook Page

#1 – First impressions – Take the time to make a cover photo for your page. You can use free programs like Canva or picmonkey. Make sure it tells people who you are, and what you are about! Include great pictures, or art showing upcoming events or current promotions that you have.

#2 – Promotions – Be sure not to do overly promotional posts. These posts are less liked to show up in News feeds. Your followers want to see a mix of posts. Always keep them professional but do keep them real, personal, give value to your readers and keep it simple! Keep your posts mixed. People like to support, and buy from real people.

#3 – Be interactive – Don’t just post on your page. Comment, like on other similar business pages. Join in conversations. You will gain followers through this!



Scary Goals

Have you ever set a goal that scared you? If yes awesome. If no do it now!

It’s a healthy thing to have your goals scare you a little bit. This will in the long run push you to make this goal complete, and hopefully encourage you to continue to do it the rest of your life.

It’s time to step up in our lives and businesses and live with purposeful intention! Aimlessness will be the default. It will take demands on you and refocusing.

Start by listing a few big goals for yourself. Then break each goal into a few bite size chunks. (smaller goals)

Make sure you are specific with your goals. Being overly generic or out there will make them harder to complete.

Make your goals doable. Be scary but not outrageous!

Life isn’t perfect. So, do the best with what you have. You can still make those big dreams come true even with the ups and downs of life and business.

Moms Need a Do-over TOO

A few ideas on the days where well you just need a do over!


  1. Start a tickle fight with your husband and kids.
  2. Give a hug to someone you love.
  3. Make animals noises with your family.
  4. Start a nerf gun war.
  5. Smile at everyone.
  6. Tell some jokes.
  7. Have a dance party!
  8. Tell each of your family members you love them.
  9. Make up a secret handshake for fun.
  10. Share a piece of a goodie.

10 Tips for a Better Night Sleep

#1 Read a book before bed. Unplug from screens and electronics at least 90 minutes before your desired bed time. Read a self-help book or something similar with a positive note!

#2 No caffeine after lunch time. Let your body have a break, and give it time to flush out the caffeine before its time for bed!

#3 Keep pets and kidos out of your bed. The extra movement and noise keeps you from getting a restful night sleep.

#4 Get ready for the next day the night before. Leaving you to worry less about what you must get done in the morning. Being prepared ahead of time will give you  peace of mind

#5 Use white noise. Having calming music quietly playing, or a fan running on low is generally enough to drowned out the extra noises of your home or outside. Letting you rest more peacefully!

#6 Have a nighttime routine. Our bodies young and old love and need a good schedule.

#7 Stop doing working at a minimum of 1-2 hours before bedtime. Let your mind relax from the day and not need to worry about to do’s and other projects.

#8 Avoid eating especially any heavy meals at least 2 hours before bedtime if not 3 hours. Giving your body enough time to digest its food will leaving you feeling better and less chance of upset stomachs.

#9 Take a warm bath. Give your body a chance for down time with a warm bath. As an extra benefit add essential oils like Lavender, and Vetiver.

#10 Write 10 things that you are thankful for from the day down in a journal. Having gratitude and actually writing it out can fill you with more joy and peace. Being thankful and expressing it can be very relaxing!


Keeping Positivity Alive – Moments of Encouragement

What does a positive women look like?

A few things to think about:

  • we must realize that neither circumstances nor people are ever perfect! Learn to “Let it Go”.
  • be realistic in your expectations.
  • everyone is your life has a weakness, as well as strengths, as do we!
  • Be flexible and forgiving!

Learn to build on your strengths.

No better investment then to pour encouragement into our spouses and children’s lives. This reward will be priceless. Bring positivity to their lives!

It is our responsibility each day to give strength to our children and to encourage our children to help them face life’s opportunities and challenges.

Ways to Improve your Life – #5 – Motivation Monday

#5 is don’t give up!

How to you keep yourself going when you feel like giving up?

Prayer is a wonderful and should be first go to in our lives. Speaking to God about what is going on and how you are feeling welcomes God into your situation.

Luke 18 1As we work through are struggles that are making us want to quit and give up we are gaining strength to endure, strength to move forward, and learning how to handle life in the future when it gets tossed at us.

Do you have something that always gets you down? Wants to make you give up? How do you attack it.

I am a BIG fan of list making. For some reason it just works for me. I ask myself things like -why am I feeling like quitting                                                                                                              – why am I working on this “thing” anyways                                                                                     – what does it mean to me                                                                                                                      – what will it mean if i succeed                                                                                                              – what will it mean if I choose to let it go

Generally after I answer these questions I get a better idea of what I need to do to gain strength and move forward.

Remember: the only way to truly fail is to quit.

Ways to Improve Your Life #4 – Motivation –

#4 is to Serve Others When You Feel Like Being Selfish

Servants heart

Have you ever found that when you are in just the pits of whatever if you can find away to serve others in some way, even something as simple as smiling and holding a door open you can actually break the grip of selfishness on your soul.

Every little thing and big thing that we can do with a servant’s heart can make our world a little different, a little better.

Also when we serve others we bring joy and peace to our own souls.

Take a small step today, and go out with a servants heart. You will be amazed and how you can bless someone, OR do it without anyone knowing it was you. (One of my favorite things to do) I just love the idea of sending someone something or doing something for someone and they never knew who did it! So fun! Give it a try and come back and tell me how you gained a servants heart.

Ways to Improve your Life #2 – Motivation Monday

#2 for today is Exercise

Exercise literally sends signals to your brain that your body is good and needs to move. When  you don’t exercise you do the exact opposite. You can make your body feel weak, and maybe sick so it begins to break down.

If we can commit to get 30 to 40 minutes of even a light exercise in everyday your body will thrive more. You will become more alert, more alive. It will be something your body begins to crave. Can you commit to the next 30 days of giving life to your body by exercising for a minimum of 30 minutes each day. You don’t need a gym pass, or equipment in your home, you can go outside and go for a walk. If the weather isn’t so bad go to the library and get a simple cardio exercise DVD and use it. There are SO many resources out there so really there is no excuse. AND even with most sicknesses you can still go for an easy walk. If you fall off a day, ok pick yourself up and start again the next day. But do yourself a favor, don’t let yourself fall off too many days in a row. Your body wants to move, because then it feels needed! So work to improve your life today with exercise!
